Synopsis
Can traumatic events change a mature person, or are our personalities fully formed at a young age? Can an unconventional love rescue one from the depths of despair? These are among the many intriguing questions posed by the extraordinary new film, “Sabel,” which features teleserye princess Judy Ann Santos in her most challenging role to date. “Sabel” is a new type of Philippine film , a provocative drama full of complex characters whose motives are anything but predictable. It’s a unique, penetrating film which could only have come from artists of the caliber of writer Ricky Lee and director Joel Lamangan, and brought to vibrant life by the most talented screen actors of our time.
