Synopsis
MADRASTA

Madrasta is the story of a woman who, in her bid to win the love and acceptance of her stepchildren, tries to fill the void left by the mother who abandoned them. However, she realizes that in order to find her way into their hearts, she must first find it in herself to make room for them in hers.


MINSAN MINAHAL KITA

Past and present intermingle and converge in this unusual love story.
Dianne and Albert's tale unfold from the mid-80's. From a series of synchronistic, yet funny and awkward, encounters between them, Albert becomes a client of Dianne's whose office conducts human resources development seminars for companies. Albert, a construction company executive and whom Dianne charms in their first chance meeting, may have really thought that his firm could use the services of her office. On the other hand, he must have just felt compelled to create the circumstances to be closer to her. Regardless of his real motives, he fulfills his heart's desire. They fall in love…despite forbidding circumstances.
As in nearly all illicit affairs, theirs is an alternately fulfilling and frustrating one. Albert asks Dianne to be with him. She hedges. But when Louie (Edu Manzano), turns violent on her once more, she impulsively decides to run away with him. She takes up Albert's offer to go away with him. However, Life has so much irony. It is Albert's turn to hedge. And to change his mind, he decides he would remain with his family, even as he would like to remain her lover, too. Dianne's world crumbles.
Indeed, life is full of ironies.


KUNG AKO NA LANG SANA

Emmy (Sharon Cuneta) and Vince (Aga Muhlach) started out as casual friends in their college barkada until parallel events in their lives drew them closer to later become the best of friends. This is despite their opposite personalities - Emmy is driven in her career and domineering among her friends but possesses a heart of gold, while Vince is the ever-cool type of guy who has this laid-back attitude towards life.
Although not being physically close to and not constantly communicating with each other for extended periods of time, they manage to affect and influence each other's lives over the years until they find themselves falling in love with each other. Fearful of losing the friendship they have invested much on, they choose not to let the other know of their true feelings until much later on.
"Kung Ako Na Lang Sana" exemplifies the saying that friendship, indeed, blooms into love.
