Synopsis
The story revolves around the life of Cristy (Snooky Serna), her sister Diana (Janice de Belen) and her mother, Rosa (Susan Roces). Their father, Julio (Eddie Garcia) leaves them for a wealthy mistress, Jenny (Hilda Koronel). Though Cristy graduated valedictorian from high school, Rosa declines her plan of continuing her college studies. In Cristy's desperation, she searches for her father's assistance which is met with Rosa's fury.

Cristy falls in love with Dinky (Richard Gomez), Jenny's brother. From there on, she has made choices, which prompted events to unfold and to influence not only her life but also the lives of the people surrounding her, giving the film a subtle twist at the end.
