Synopsis
Ambrosio "Bruce" leaves the province for the Big City where he hopes to find a better life; he has to get his tubercular mother Patring and blind sister Aida to the doctors. But he ends up being a balut and chicharon vendor who always gets into fights until he befriends three policemen who helps bring out his latent talent in boxing.

Under world-class trainer Fernan Balani, he rises in the international boxing arena, in the process meeting socialite Sheena and again his childhood sweetheart, Fanie.
